Ingredients
- 4 cups Boston lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 block firm tofu, cubed
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 radishes, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp red chili oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- For the Red Chili Oil:
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp red chili flakes
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Method
1. Prepare the Red Chili Oil: • Heat the olive oil in a small pan over low heat. • Add the red chili flakes and minced garlic, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant. • Remove from heat and let it cool.
2. Grill the Tofu: • Toss the tofu cubes with soy sauce. • Heat olive oil in a pan and grill the tofu until golden on all sides.
3. Assemble the Salad: • Arrange Boston lettuce in a large bowl. • Top with grilled tofu, radish slices, and sesame seeds if using. • Drizzle with the prepared chili oil.
4. Serve: • Toss lightly and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
