Ingredients
- 1 ripe UNS White Guava, peeled, seeded & chopped
- 1 lemon Juice
- 6–8 fresh basil leaves
- 1–2 tsp agave syrup or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1½ cups chilled sparkling water or soda water
- Ice cubes, as needed
Method
- Prepare the base: In a blender, combine chopped guava, lemon juice, basil, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
- Strain (optional): Strain the mixture through a fine sieve for a smoother texture, or leave as-is for a rustic feel.
- Assemble the drink: Fill two glasses with ice. Divide the guava-basil mixture between them.
- Top it up: Add sparkling water. Stir gently. Garnish with a basil leaf or a lemon slice.
