Sage Curd Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt (curd)
  • 2-3 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Method

1. Prepare the ingredients: a. Finely chop the sage leaves and mince the garlic.

2. Combine the ingredients: a. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sage, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. b. Add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a slightly sweet touch.

3. Adjust the consistency: a. If the dressing is too thick, add a teaspoon of water or olive oil to thin it out to your desired consistency.

4. Chill and serve: a. Transfer the dressing to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
