Broccoli Microgreens Smoothie

A nutrient-packed green smoothie featuring UNS Broccoli Microgreens for a healthy and energizing start to your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup UNS Broccoli Microgreens
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • A few ice cubes (optional)

Method

  1. Prepare ingredients: Wash the UNS Broccoli Microgreens and spinach leaves thoroughly. Peel the banana if not already done.
  2. Add to blender: Combine the almond milk, banana, pineapple chunks, spinach, UNS Broccoli Microgreens, chia seeds, and honey (if using) in a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth: Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk to adjust the consistency.
  4. Serve immediately: Pour into two glasses, add a few ice cubes if desired, and garnish with a few UNS Broccoli Microgreens on top for presentation.
  5. Enjoy this refreshing, vitamin-rich smoothie as breakfast or a midday snack!
